Nature

‘Rhodope’ forest park is situated in the northern parts of the mountain ridge of Chernatitza. It is situated to the south of Plovdiv at an altitude of 1280m. There are large meadows, plantations of pine trees, fir and beech and the sub-tree level is taken by hazelnut, cytisus and juniper berry.
The climate is transitional-Mediterranean. The air is exceptionally fresh, without any kind of pollution.
The resort is used for climate prophylaxis and treatment of many diseases.

‘Rhodope’ forest park can be reached by: personal motor vehicle through the village of Markovo or village of Galabovo and by coach line from ‘Rhodope’ coach station in Plovdiv. The roads are asphalt.
